Moto Droid Bionic: an All-around, Powerful Smartphone from Motorola

Moto Droid Bionic is known to be one of the most powerful android smartphones ever to be created. It was meticulously built by Motorola phones with amazingly unique features and top-of-the-line applications for the user to enjoy. Its internet connectivity is unbelievably fast and since it is dual core and LTE-powered, internet crashing is very rare. This phone is like having a handy laptop or a desktop computer because of its powerful features and processor. Let’s now scrutinize each specification and feature to know how ground-breaking this phone really is.

Features and Specifications of Moto Droid Bionic

Moto Droid Bionic is an all-around, powerful smartphone. A user can pretty much do whatever he pleases without worry of the system crashing. Multi-tasking is also very much possible with this phone. The user can open up many programs and the system would still respond quickly.

To better understand why all these are possible, below are the specifications and the features of Moto Droid Bionic:

Physical Appearance

As powerful as Moto Droid Bionic may appeal based on the descriptions given, physically, it looks as powerful, well built, and handsome. This phone is big, given that it measures 2.6 inches x 5 inches x 0.4 inches and weighs 5.6 ounces. It looks solid and strong but not too bulky or thick; it has a soft-touch back and a gorilla glass front.

The screen of Moto Droid Bionic is not really as excellent as its other features. The screen measures 4.3 inches. Though wide, the pictures are not really pristine. However, the pictures and colored lines are not really bad at all it’s just not as excellent as the other features of this phone.

Voice Call

The voice quality is great; it has a noise cancellation feature that makes phone conversation bearable even amidst the hurly burly busy honking of the cabs and buses on the streets. The speakerphone is very loud, which is good and practical for phone meetings as everyone can hear what the other person on the line is saying.

The internal memory can hold up to 16GB worth of files and it also has an available microSD card slot that can contain up to 32GB.

The camera for Moto Droid Bionic smartphone has 8 mega pixels and has features such as autofocus, geo tagging, dual LED flash, image stabilization and face detection.

The battery life of Moto Droid Bionic is not really impressive considering it supports a 4G phone that squeezes out energy from the battery especially if used constantly. However, its battery life is actually better in comparison to previous LTE phones like the famous HTC Thunderbolt. It uses the standard battery LI-ion 1753 mAh and can stand by up to 195h.

Other Features

This phone can be amazingly used as a WiFi hotspot for five devices with speeds ranging from 7 to 15Mbps.  This is impressive indeed considering that this phone is 4G. Since this phone is equipped with dual core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, multitasking is also excellent. Android v2.3.4 Gingerbread runs this smartphone.

Moto Droid Bionic is indeed very powerful and convenient at the same time. It is known to be quite costly; however, with its dynamic features and specifications, it is really worth the price.

Motorola Droid Bionic Lost in the Wild??

The Droid series of the Motorola mobile phones have been able to pull so much of attention and deliver such great performance that peoples’ expectations from this series and also from this manufacturer have started rising high and now the news of the launch of another Droid handset is dragging all’s interest to know more and check out what’s new and unique about it. Named as the Motorola Droid Bionic, Motorola says that many hi-tech features and great functions are to be loaded in the phone and the only thing that is making people go impatient is the date of its release which as not yet been made clear by the company.

A few configurations with which the Motorola Droid Bionic is to set all its rivals on fire are its qHD display, upgraded 4G LTE modem, Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and a Texas Instruments powered processor. It is true that the said configuration of the phone has raised its benchmark quite high but then the CEO of Motorola, Sanjay Jha saying that the design of the phone is to be revised for its summer launch makes its release uncertain. Rumors also say that the chipset of the phone has not yet been finalized which was once decided would be the Tegra 2 chip, a chip that has already been found in use in the Motorola Xoom tablet and in the Motorola Atrix 4G for AT&T. But as the preceding models of the Droid series, i.e., Droid 1, Droid X and Droid 2 were packed with TI OMAP chips; things get even very confusing and nothing is going to be clear until the phone itself knocks the market.

In fact, the most notable out of all the factors that has made all go impatient for a look of it is the news that the Motorola Droid Bionic will come with a PowerVR 540 GPU. It is said that this GPU is similar in capacity to the TI OMAP 4430 and 4440 dual-core processors. It is actually the cancelled, delayed and then re-designing reports of this handset that have made everybody unsure of the features to be loaded in the phone. However, in one thing everybody will need to agree together is that by maintaining its previous good records and by not going off the track, this model of the Motorola Droid phones too is to set an instance of brilliance and user-friendliness.
