Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is one of a few devices that can deliver in every way, as it provides users with a conundrum in many respects, due to the multitude of useful features. This particular model is powered by a decent 1 GHz processor combined with the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), all of which is packed within a compact design, with a dimension of 114 x 62 x 11 mm and weighing at just 115 grams. The new phone may use a significantly faster GPU, possibly the Adreno 205, which can effectively eliminate stuttering on hardware-intensive 3D games.
It comes with a medium-sized display, a 3.65″ capacitive touchscreen, which provides both fluid touch screen capability and effective imagery. Just like its predecessor, the phone still uses 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 16 millions colors. However, the HVGA resolution produces a somewhat mediocre look to the beautiful TouchWiz UI. The 3.5 mm jack and a mic are available as well as the ability to use .wav and .mp3 files for ringtones. The phone offers standard connectivity options, such the 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, which is already enough for many users.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus supports up to 32GB microSD card, which can significantly supplement the 3GB of internal storage. The original Galaxy Ace by comparison, only features 158MB of internal storage and 278MB of RAM. The phone also supports 3G connection and WiFi as well as Bluetooth and micro USB. It comes with a 5Mp rear-facing camera (2592 x 1944 pixels), which includes LED flash, geotagging, autofocus and face detection. It is not yet known whether, videos produced by the Galaxy Ace Plus are higher than 15fps, which cause poor video quality and compatibility issues.
The model comes with the benefit of A-GPS for satellite navigation and stereo radio with RDS. Other built-in features are predictive text input, image editor, document editor, organizer and multimedia player and they simply enhances the phone value further. There’s no official announcement about the price, but the unlocked version of the phone will available in the United Kingdom for £250.
